The terms and conditions that apply when you use this website or book a service.
These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Ning Makeup Studio, whether booked through the website ningmakeupstudio.com, by phone, messaging apps, or in person. By submitting the contact form, otherwise booking a service, and/or signing a quote (service agreement), you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation & Deposit Policy.
Ning Makeup Studio is the sole proprietorship of Ning Xue, a makeup artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Services include: bridal makeup, everyday makeup, special occasion makeup, professional and brand projects, makeup lessons, as well as website development services under the name Digital Beauty Solutions.
Ning Xue is a makeup artist, not a professional hairstylist. Services are limited to makeup; hair styling is not performed, except for finishing touches included as part of the overall look. If a hairstylist is required for an event, the client must arrange this separately.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without prior notice. The price quoted at the time of booking and confirmed by deposit remains fixed for that booking.
Prices shown apply to services within Manitoba. Bookings outside the province are quoted separately.
A deposit of 50% of the service cost is required to confirm a booking. Cancellation and deposit refund terms are set out in a separate document — the Cancellation & Deposit Policy.
Payment (deposit and final balance) is accepted in cash at the in-person appointment or via E-Transfer. The website does not collect or process credit card information.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the service, upon its completion. If the balance is not paid on time, interest of 2% per month accrues on the outstanding amount until paid in full. All reasonable costs associated with collecting the debt are borne by the client.
The following terms apply to website development services:
Services to clients under the age of 18 are provided only with the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian.
All photographs, text, and content on the website ningmakeupstudio.com, including portfolio photographs, belong to Ning Makeup Studio unless otherwise stated. Copying, reproducing, or using these materials without written permission is prohibited.
If a client leaves a review on the website, they grant Ning Makeup Studio the right to publish that review on the website and in promotional materials for the services. Reviews must not contain offensive statements, false information, or infringe on the rights of third parties.
The website may contain links to third-party resources (for example, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Maps, Google, Gmail, WhatsApp, WeChat, and others). Ning Makeup Studio is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these third-party sites.
Ning Makeup Studio takes reasonable measures to ensure the quality of services, but does not guarantee that the result of a service will fully meet the client's expectations, as the result depends on individual characteristics, preferences, and the conditions under which the event takes place.
The client must inform Ning Xue in advance of any known allergies, heightened skin sensitivity, or other medical contraindications. Ning Makeup Studio is not responsible for allergic reactions or other consequences arising from the client's failure to provide such information in advance.
Ning Makeup Studio is not responsible for the inability to provide a service or for delays caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the service provider (including, but not limited to, weather conditions, traffic accidents, illness, or other force majeure circumstances).
Ning Makeup Studio is not liable for indirect damages arising in connection with the use of the website or services, except where such liability is expressly required under Canadian law. In any case, the total liability of Ning Makeup Studio for any claims related to the service does not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for that service.
Ning Makeup Studio reserves the right to change the content of the website, prices, and terms of service provision without prior notice.
Changes to prices or terms do not apply to bookings already confirmed by a paid deposit; for such bookings, the price and terms in effect at the time of confirmation remain valid.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada.
We may periodically update these Terms of Service. The date of the last update is noted at the end of this document.
